HK SciFest 2023 – STEAM Workshop – “Precious Metal Wizard” has come to a successful conclusion

HK SciFest 2023 – STEAM Workshop – “Precious Metal Wizard”was held by Chow Sang Sang Precious Metals Laboratory on 14 April 2023. The registration for the event was overwhelmingly received, and it was fully booked before the deadline for registration. On the day of the event, colleagues from the laboratory explained to the participants the scientific knowledge related to precious metals such as gold and silver, and guided them to conduct experiments, which aroused their interest in science. The participating families actively asked questions during the workshop, carefully observed the changes in the experiment, and expressed their hope to participate in popular science activities again.

Participants were engaged and got hands-on experience of the scientific principles of precious metals and their applications.

The participating families enjoyed the workshop and the activity ended successfully with laughter.

The laboratory will continue to hold similar activities in the future, hoping to promote popular science education and encourage the public to explore precious metals from a scientific perspective.
