Calibration Services
- General inspection of the equipment
- Verify the accuracy
- Provide water resistant sticker for each calibrated equipment
- Provide accredited electronic certificate
A calibration certificate is a document which shows the equipment identification, calibration date, calibration location and calibration method. The document also includes information on the quality and measurement accuracy of the equipment.
Pipette calibration typically takes 5 working days upon receiving the equipment.
For on-site balance calibration, it will take around 2 hours for one calibration. If we calibrate the balance off-site, it takes 2 working days for one calibration. Normally, electronic calibration certificates are available within one week after completing all the equipment calibration of each order. However, turnaround time may fluctuate, please contact us for our calibration services.
Simply give us a call or use the contact form to email us with the information of the balance, and we will take care of it immediately.
Please click Accreditation to find out our certification of accreditation. Or you may visit Hong Kong Accreditation Service for more detail.
Regular monitoring and calibration can extend the overall life of the equipment. Because the nature of each equipment is different, calibration interval may vary depending on its acceptable tolerances, precision requirements and your quality assurance policies. That means it is the user’s responsibility to decide the calibration interval for each piece of equipment. Usually we recommend the calibration interval for test equipment is every 6-12 months.
We calibrate manual / electronic single channel piston operated pipette of all brands.
Pipettes are calibrated by gravimetric method in accordance with the ISO 8655-6.
We will carry out pipette calibration off-site. You can package your pipettes with sufficient pipette tips and ship to us.
Please ensure all the pipettes are completely decontaminated and safe for us to handle.
For CSSPML, You can pay the fee by cash or make cheque payable to “Chow Sang Sang Jewellery Co Ltd” or pay into Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited A/C 030 552 000 10847. Please email or fax the copy of pay-in-slip to us after completion of transaction.
Digital Signature
Digital signature works through Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technology. By using encryption technique of the digital certificate, it guarantees the integrity and authenticity of the digitally signed document. Chow Sang Sang Precious Metal Laboratory uses digital certificates issued by Hongkong Post Certification Authority to encrypt the digital signature on the document. Once a document has been digitally signed, customer can verify the digital signature.
A digital signature has the same legal standing as handwritten signature under the Electronic Transactions Ordinance.
To open and check the validity of a digitally signed PDF document, we recommend installing Adobe Acrobat Reader. In this article we use Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
(Available for free here:Adobe Acrobat Reader)
Adobe Acrobat Reader may prompt you a “Trusted Certificates Update”, please click OK.
*Note: If you are not using Adobe Acrobat Reader, the digital signature validation process may not occur.
Your computer or other devices should connect with internet, then open the PDF file with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and its Signature Panel (or choose View > Show/Hide > Navigation Panels > Signatures) across the top of the document.
There are three possible cases:
1. The validity of the document certificate is UNKNOWN. The author could not be verified.
2. Signature Panel does not appear.
3. At least one signature requires validating.
If the content of a PDF file is altered, the electronic signature is invalidated. A brief description of changes will be viewable by clicking “Signature Panel” button.
If the signature panel not present or reports other error messages or signature panel, authenticity and integrity of the document are not guaranteed. Please contact us to check its validity.
Yes, but the signature is not valid on the printed document.
The document cannot be modified, as any change made to the file invalidates the digital signature.
